What Jeff doesn't like about Boss Drive-in:
I got there at 8:15. I asked if I could get 2 breakfast burritos and was told no, I then asked what can I get then? The guy replied nothing then slid the window shut and walked away. Never going back there in the mornings! View all feedback.
Ordered fish and chips through door dash and I got my food inedible. I ordered the fish and chip, I just assumed I had gotten a big piece of fish, but it was two pieces of fish basically held together by basically raw batter. Thankfully I ripped the piece apart but lord I could have gotten sick. That is completely disgusting. It made me question the rest of my order and now I will never eat there again.
This to-go only West Seattle drive-in is such a great spot. As much as Dick’s is a Seattle institution, Boss is my choice nine times out of ten, unless I’m *really* craving the Dick’s relish-tartar sauce. The burgers are cheap and delicious — the Dub-C is a fine choice, and the Boss Hog is great when you’re feeling extra gluttonous. I like the corn dog bites, and my wife is a fan of the Mac and cheese bites. The crinkle-cut fries are awesome when fresh, and though they can be a little hit and miss, they’re always better than Dick’s. Pretty decent shakes, too. Highly recommend if you live in the area, but it can be worth the trip out of your way too!
Good food for the price. Staff is always friendly. Wait times can be a little long, but appropriately so, given the amount of orders. I tried the new veggie burger. The patty was basically like an Indian samosa. It was an interesting surprise. I would get it again, but wouldn't be heartbroken if it's not there long. Any new veggie burgers they throw our way I'll certainly try in the future. The black bean is always good too, but I like having an alternative.
Good food. Kills the craving for a burger. A little slow on getting orders out. Not bad if you want to try a new burger joint. You have to find seating at one of their 2 picnic tables or sit on the rock wall below.
Great service and old school style of dining. Limited outdoor seating but it 's called a Drive-in for a reason and that works for the locals
