This restaurant was an amazing find and is a must visit for lovers of Salvadorian food. Having lived in El Salvador for two years I can promise that the pupusas served there are legit and also boast loroco as an option, a condiment not every restaurant has. The atmosphere here is also very friendly with authentic loud music and kind waiters. If I had the opportunity I would be a regular here, but the least I can do i... View all feedback.
What Andy de G doesn't like about El Migueleno:
Traveled from Central valley to visit friends and wanted to finish the evening with some popusas. Alas they locked the doors 30 minutes early. Too bad, as I would not recommend this establishment since they advertise that they close at 9pm. What else is false? View all feedback.
On foot to the restaurant and was immediately welcomed, although it served a party of 16. There was a menu and a few minutes to check it out, no pressure, ordered the Bistec encebollado, and a few bean cheese pupusas, as well as the Orchata. Everything was served hot, perfectly cooked. The steak was so tender that I could cut it with a fork. Salsa was some of the best I ever tasted. The Pupusa were full of beans, cheese, but not fat. Not sure why this place is just a 4.2 points, but it's 5 stars in my travels and Lord knows that I have been everywhere in my life.

"The Salvadorian food at this restaurant is fantastic. We ordered a sampler and everything was delicious. We also noticed some enticing seafood bowls that we want to try next time. We will definitely be returning."
A restaurant which not only serves authentic Salvadorian food but also gives an holistic experience. Good food and great people. I would recommend visiting them for the experience at the least. We tried the vegetarian options and were not disappointed. The music can get very loud in there. Maybe that's how they have it though.
I am amazed to see that this place has a 4.1 star rating, but I would personally give it no more than 3 stars overall. The food quality is quite average, the service is unprofessional, and the employees are very noisy when they talk. I also noticed that the fish tank looked very dirty, so I hope they clean it soon for the poor fish inside. Until I see a picture of a clean fish tank, I will not change my opinion. I do not think I will return to this restaurant.
