Captain D's Seafood Kitchen - Searcy

Had a desire for a cold water fish with malt vinegar. Portion sizes were large. Had the sampler combo with two sides. Fish was delicious. Cole Slav was good and the corn was hot. Restaurant with toilets were impeccable. Ate in, stopped me and left the feeling as if I had a huge experience for a fast food joint.

There is occasionally a visit to a restaurant that stands above the rest. I'm not sure if the management team was the Fort or if this store is just a well-oiled machine. From the minute I went to the reception area, was clean and welcoming. The man with the headset who would normally take care of the passage took my order because there was someone in front of me in the cash register. He did it fast and I paid with my credit card, my food was in the window before we finished the process. This means that the person listened to the line in the kitchen so that they can get a jump on the order. That was impressive. The food quickly arrived almost easily speed. The food was hot, fresh and exactly what I ordered. I picked up my food and went to the dining area and chose a stand. I made my drink and went to the toilet room to wash my hands. The restroom was spotless and clean. The dining room was spotless and clean. Something else I love to Captain D’s is that you can get your pickup and spices from a pump dispenser to a dish. I hate to tear open little packages from ketchup. You don't have to do this with Captain D. I enjoyed my meal and left. I recommend Captain D’s of Searcy. I don't eat fish every day, but if I do, it will be Captain D's seafood restaurant.

I ordered the 12pc Butterfly Shrimp dinner with 2 pages, French Fries and Macaroni cheese. I was very impressed by the taste of the shrimps and the lush puppies! The hush puppies were PERFECT: light (not dense), perfectly cooked all the way thru no big pieces onion!! The macaroni cheese was delicious creamy. Unfortunately they were from Key Lime Pie but the cheese cake was a good substitute. I will be sure and order the 24 pieces Shrimp dinner NEXT time, so I will get some rest shrimp for a snack later!!

I visited this restaurant for the first time three days ago. A cute girl was at the window when I arrived, but they switched her out on me. Despite that, the service here is excellent—better than any other location I've been to.

I found the food to be incredible—definitely fresh and really delicious. I do wish the outdoor sign was updated, as it seems that people tend to overlook it. Thank you, everyone!
