My friend, I was there to eat lunch. We split a baked chicken, extra crisp bacon with salad on wheat bread a sequence of frits. We really enjoyed the sandwich. It was very good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Islands Seal Beach:
The server was excellent. Place was clean. Our table surface smelled like acidic dirty water from the towel that they can use to clean. Food was okay, but not worth the price View all feedback.
Love Islands... it's always consistently good food and very kind and professional service. It's fun watching all the surfing videos as well.
Nice place to meet friends after work. Only letdown was that the Happy Hour menu is only offered in the bar area.
In a general sense I love islands. I've been going to islands for years and I always enjoy the food. I've even been to this specific location previous times and had a great experience. This time was not the case. For starters the food overall was really good. I stuck with my usual and got the Toucan sandwich. The service on this visit was below standard. Our server never refilled my water, didn't bring us our food, and essentially provided no value to our experience. Thankfully I've had other good experiences so this won't discourage me from coming back
Don't know why the Kona pie slice was so small. Been a while since I came to Islands, but it used to be HUGE by comparison. The service was mixed. Food was hot and quick to come out, but seemed to take longer than I expected to refill drinks, pick up our finished plates , and order desert. Everything tasted delicious, and the hostess was very friendly and with it. There was not a wait to be seated.
Karen made our visit very special. Haven't been to Islands in years but we will be back again soon thanks to her and her great customer service.
