Mike's Seafood - SEA ISLE CITY

Great meal as usual. Busy. But excellent system and efficient process moving everything along...enjoyed and of course we will return again soon.

Always a wonderful place, great food , service and atmosphere, and I so appreciate the clean bathroom!

I am surprised by the positive reviews. The food was not good. Lobster tail massively overcooked. Scallops were like rubber. The crab cakes were tasteless. The fried clam appetizer was not bad. Clearly a tourist trap that relies on a past reputation.

Unfortunately, we had a trainwreck of an experience here. Placed an order and we waited 40 minutes to ask what was going on, and the clueless kid who took my order said, Oh ya be right out in 5 . We waited another 15 and asked someone else who truthfully told us that he never put our order in and the kitchen was trying to fast track the order. Finally, we got our food after waiting close to an hour. However, it was only just our appetizer, which was advertised as jumbo wings, yet these things looked smaller than those .10 cent pigeon wings you get at dive bars smaller than a thumbnail. Did not even bother taking a bite. At that point, we asked to get our money back as our food never arrived. No dinner tonight. Pretty lousey service and food was laughable to make up for our wait.

First off food was amazing as usual. More importantly though, the staff at Mike’s went the extra mile to ensure my son, who as ASD a great dining experience, sitting us in an area that decreased stimuli. It is clear Mike’s goes above and beyond for all of their patrons!!!!
