Spectacular dinner we arrived early due to arriving with two babies and party of six. Maria was our server patient and wonderful. Everyone enjoyed our meals and we ordered a variety of items. View all feedback.
What Stephen Gillane doesn't like about A Modo Mio:
Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a year or more but just never worked out. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Main courses were middle of the road nothing special. Like most restaurants, not enough staff. Our waiter was handling tables both inside and outside not ideal at all. View all feedback.

The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and responsive.
My husband and I frequent A Modo Mio. We greeted pleasantly and are seated promptly. The service is excellent especially with Maria and Mary as our servers. It is one of our go to restaurants in Sea isle.
Between Joe and Anastasia, we had an absolutely lovely experience. The rigatoni à la vodka as was superb as was the Caesar salad. We had a great table outside so the noise level was not really discernible. Looking forward to the next time!
My only reason to give this review a 4 is because of the table next to us. We walked in last night at 2000 and the host was gracious and cleaned up a table for us so we wouldn’t have to wait too long (this is important later). Very personable servers and bussers. Water and hot bread were here before you know it. Knowledgeable staff and while we were waiting for our meal, the entitled table next to us started their plan to get money off of their check. “My crostini is burnt and I’m not paying for it.” Crostini is grilled over a flame sir is what I was thinking but the server being the professional she is said “I’m sorry, I can get you a new one and I’m taking off the bill for you. Let me make this right ” to which he said “no and I’m not paying for it. I don’t want a new one”. As I’m salivating over that crisp perfect crostini trying to make eye contact to tell her to drop at our table and we’ll gladly pay for it- it went away. Next, we had an older gentleman have a medical emergency and the staff called 911 right away to take care of him. The gentleman passed out right there and everyone was worried except guess who? Yup they complained the police/ambulance came and ruined their meal. We know where you have a one way ticket to sir. Then the woman perfect for this man seated at his right starts yelling at the busser when she comes to see if they want anything wrapped up. It is customary to pre-buss a table during guests stay so they don’t have to look at empty plates and scraps during their stay. Mrs Misery (in order to protect their identity) screams at the young girl “can’t you wait until we’re gone to do this…and dismisses her in a rude way that you would see maybe in a Waffle House at 0400 on a Friday night. Horrible guests. We consoled the busser and insured the staff that they were professional, caring and handled the family of cavemen perfectly
