Large small bakery, the pig in the blankets known as Klobasnek in the Czech Republic are fantastic.
Oh, my God. My husband had the Apricot Kolache and I had the Cream Cheese Kolache. We both loved mine. The same family makes the Kolaches for sale in Oakridge Smokehouse in the city if Original Kountry is closed.
If you are traveling through Schulenberg, this place is a must visit . Don 't pay attention to any part of the menu. You are here for kolaches, make no mistake. I 'm sure the other items are delicious, but I 've never tried them, haha. It is a small, charming place with super friendly staff. The baked treats are out of this world.
This is my favorite bakery by far, but I always end up driving past Schulenburg in the middle of the night. This time, we decided to stop and wait until breakfast so I could enjoy it! The plain sausage kolache and the poppyseed kolache are my favorite, but this time I also tried the hatch kolache, and it's a new favorite of mine!
