Pitkins - Schroon Lake

Pitkins was recommended by locals while we were in the area. The restaurant was FANTASTIC! The service was great and the breakfast was spectacular. The prices were reasonable and the location is central in the beautiful city of Schroon Lake. We will definitely come back. Very recommended!

We were a party of 20 ppl and they were fast to accommodate us. The service was excellent and the servers were really nice. And the food was really good. A good choice. We will definitely visit again!!!

Do you want to say the food was the best part of this place (all was great and the burger of my son was fantastic) but our server was so beautiful that it was actually the best part. Honestly, family with the two children, who constantly spoke “Tell them everything was really good and she was really nice and I was never in a place with mixed fruit jelly packages. That was so cool.”

I had a reub and fries, man had fish and chips everything was delicious and the service was great! Portions were big. Pecan pie was homemade and dying for. Restaurant sign in the dining area reads- Pitkins Restaurant est. 1907! Very clean and toilet was immaculate dirty bathroom in a restaurant are a regular flag for me). Stay here when we're around.

The fish and chips is so fresh, crunchy, and yummy! It is one of our favorite meals here. Don't forget to get pie! I love the strawberry rhubarb pie and my husband loves the coconut cream pie. We've been eating here for decades and are always very happy with our meals.
