Since we are building a house in Schofields, we have been frequenting the area quite often. Out of all the cafes in Schofields, this one has definitely stood out as the best. The service is always exceptional and the portions of food are generous and delicious. We can't wait to visit again. View all feedback.

Had the ugly cheeseburger which is around AUD 18. It was just just cheese, burger and onions and some really dry mcdonalds fries. The food was bland - there were people at our table who couldn't finish the food. The service was great. But you don't go t a restaurant for service. View all feedback.

Came here for lunch as the husband wanted a burger but didn't feel like dealing with the crowds at Rouse Hill, was a great choice. We ordered the Heart Stopper Burger which husband was very impressed with and he is hard to please with hamburgers. I ordered the Bug Ugly Cheeseburger which was great, the bun was nice and soft, the cheese nicely melted and the patty big and juicy.I'd recommend ordering their special sauce if you always have sauce with your chips. The Loaded Tim Tam milkshake was the highlight, I think it was only on as a special but if it is available be sure to order it, big chunks of tim tam, strawberries and nutella AMAZING! Even my husband who hates milkshakes was trying to sneak in multiple sips when i wasn't looking.

Ugly Mug Coffee House (based at Richmond) has recently (as of very late 2016 or early 2017) opened a second café under the same name on Railway Terrace in Schofields. It is a funky, vibrant café which has a buzz and is busy on weekends. It is not unusual to see couples, families and groups dining there. The second café to open in the locality, Ugly Mug Coffee House has rustic, creative decor consisting of old doors, ladders, etc. The atmosphere is nice, and there are plenty of tables. The waiters there are friendly and prompt to serve, and the menu consists of a wide variety of food, plus coffee and other beverages.Ugly Mug has a specials board which changes regularly, and it is open for breakfast and lunch, as well as coffees. The café offers dining in as well as takeaway. We have visited there for breakfast a number of times, and the regular waiters there now recognise us.The food is satisfying and the coffee is good.Pricing is quite reasonable, and very typical for a café.It is great to see another new café business opening in the area, as it is highly needed. We hope it thrives, and so far, it looks to be doing well. For the easly risers, it is open quite early in the morning, which makes for a nice way to start the day over breakfast. The music volume could certainly be lowered, though, particularly early in the morning. For people who like the café and coffee scene, Ugly Mug Coffee House at Schofields is well worth a visit -- check it out.
I visited this cafe for the first time after a long absence from Schofields township. The area has seen some development since my last visit. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted by a waitress who inquired if we were new to the cafe. Her customer service skills were excellent as she seated us and handed us menus. We were there for lunch, and we were informed that the kitchen would be closing in 15 minutes. Despite the presence of loud children on school holidays, we did not mind. We ordered fish and chips, an omelette with sourdough, and an additional ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was a bit on the sweet side, but the fish and chips were delicious, made with barramundi cooked perfectly. The omelette was a little fishy due to the salmon, but it made for a quick and satisfying lunch. Our waitress was attentive and provided great customer service throughout our meal. Overall, it was a good lunch option for a small township, and the cafe was clean. I recommend it for a quick snack or lunch.
