Markt-Cafe - Schönebeck/Elbe

The café is located directly on the market and overlooking the market fountain and the town hall behind it offers everything you expect. It welcomes a very cozy atmosphere. Staff and offers of food and drinks leave nothing to be desired.

Since it's the only café in town, we're here more often. The ice cream tastes, the service is friendly. Even order in the café is placed. Coffee tastes, delicious cakes, small snacks there is also what you want more.

I miss the café.... I came to Schönebeck in the late autumn as a spa guest with respiratory diseases. As far as the weather is concerned, I was lucky to discover beautiful cycling routes, especially on the other side of the Elb, and to have the market café in the Schönebeck town hall accessible for a warming coffee on the way back. If the café works from outside at least this season quite inconspicuously and almost like a kiosk, the visitor shows an almost living-room-like atmosphere with great attention to detail. This atmosphere, paired with the crippled coffee that led to the use of a good bean and the right handling of the machine, was for me reason to plan this café on the way back in the four weeks stay as a guest in Schönebeck. Unlike my good intentions for a significant calorie reduction after the sports unit, I am here to prepare a lot of delicious sin on cakes and cakes that everyone has prepared for the next visit. And some of them were self-made and even fresh (warm roast apple cake at 3 degrees outside temperature makes happy). But what's worse is: The cafe's ice cream box had no at least interesting surprises. My preference for caramel salt is found quickly. I found that the operation also created a real ice cup from the map as professional and tasty, although I did not expect this at all and the result in grace and taste would have been assigned to a “right ice salon”. The staff as well as the owner of the café I was allowed to meet obviously follow a philosophy that reveals a lot of heart blood for their guests. However, I also saw how the guests took part so that I envy the service in the café for the peace and professionalism. I don't know if I could. In addition to nature and the seemingly “endless breadth” on my bike tours, which are hardly known from the Ruhrregion Stammender, the café was one of my best experiences in the everyday life of my recovery phase. I wish the operators good luck, but also endurance, with the partly really polarising guests in a region that does not seem so easy in rural areas! I always felt very welcome, thank you!

We sat outside and no operation came, then we asked: here is self service, we were told. Later it was suddenly served outside, strange. At the end it is not possible to recognize: self-service or not self-service. If the operation, but not particularly beautiful, is from fast to quiet and naturally unhelligt. As a café in the first place of the city completely inadequate.
