I usually go here at night, as with McDonald's in reverse, Whataburger tends to be one of the few restaurants that are still open late at night; while I'm not a big fan of all her food and waiting time. Here too the workers do their best; However, they are always friendly, faster with orders than the McDonald's site in Converse, but they have too long lines. The food is always fresh. What Jessica Spoon doesn't like about Whataburger:
Ordered curbside. I checked in and waited for 25 minutes. I finally went in and was told it was going to be a few minutes. When I expressed my frustration, the worker walked behind the wall and returned with my food. It was cold. I had ordered breakfastand by this point it was 1130 so breakfast was over. This location is unorganized. Although it?s the closest to my house afterthis most recent experience coupled with... View all feedback.
It was our first time there, the food was good, remembering the Habit here in CA. It was even worth waiting (24 minutes), only due to lack of personnel unfortunately, but that was okay!
Very sad! although it was good to see a young black crew, the professionalism was not there. As I walked in floor was over wet with no signs and as I went to the rest room I found out why as I observed an employee lifting his sleeve admiring his tats. After making my one sandwich order I waited a longer than usual time, which resulted in the official... here you go) send off, only to return with a have made patty melt that was luke warm ...made my complaint holding back what I really wanted to say andleft because enough of my time was wasted and I needed to get to work. Truly we can do better people...signed concerned for ourgeneration ????
Use to be a good place to get good food, but lately seems the crew is more worried about their personal appearance or talking to each other and finding ways to not do their job while they do their job. Don't get me wrong there are certain managers that arejust trying to do their jobs right and be a good manager, and when I go in when they are working I rarely have issues withanything service or food. But some managers and crew members seem to make it their job to give you a bad experience regardlessof how polite and accommodating you are to help get your order.
This restaurant used to provide a consistently great experience, but over the past year, it has become unreliable, with more misses than hits. The fries are often lukewarm and somewhat soggy, and the burgers are hit or miss as well—when they do get it right. The last time I ordered a burger, I had to send it back because it arrived completely cold. The staff are wonderful and very friendly, but the food quality is lacking. If I have the time, I typically prefer to drive 10-15 miles to a Whataburger just to bypass the frustration.
I typically visit this place at night because, unlike McDonald's, Whataburger is one of the few restaurants that stays open late. While I'm not a huge fan of all their menu items and the wait times can be long, the staff here really do their best. They are always friendly and quicker with orders than the McDonald's in Converse, but the lines can be quite lengthy. The food is consistently fresh.
