This restaurant is in the Woodfield Mall but you can enter from a door outside from the parking lot also. We had to wait a little to be seated although the restaurant was not very crowded. Our waitress was nice. Kind've reserved but pleasant enough. We had the Carne Asada which I ordered medium. It was very good. The beans and rice though we just okay. What jemfromwales doesn't like about Cafe Bresler's:
Went for lunch. A taco salad and a premium margarita. Nice food, good salsa. Salad was not in the tortilla basket. Kind of deconstructed. Margarita too sweet for me. They used lime syrup which ruined it for me. When I asked, it seems they dont serve a traditional margarita. Lesson learned. I need a Mexican restaurant next time. Decent service. View all feedback.

Waited an hour for a table. Which was fine, it was a busy Saturday night. Got seated at a bar table and after 15 minutes we still had not been greeted by a server. Didn’t even see one walking by to ask. I went back to the host stand to ask for help and it was deserted. I went back to our table, waited another 5 minutes and we gave up and walked out.
On vacation with family, we had dinner at Uncle Julio’s at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois. The chips were amazing, but the food was inedible. The enchiladas were coated with a fake orange cheese that was just awful. I am not one to complain, but I will never eat at this restaurant again.

After we received our meals, we were asked if we wanted tortillas which, I had assumed, would just come with the meal so wasn't sure why they asked. Overall the restaurant is fine and we would return.
Good stuff!!
