The Mayfield - Scarborough

It is very seldom I do not finish a meal out. On this occasion it was hard to start it. Unappealing in appearance the the steak and ale pie meal had just 10 minutes before serving must have been happily ensconced inside a freezer. Microwave moments later it was put in front of me. When the waitress took away the almost full plate she asked if I had enjoyed my meal!

My family, along with other families in the family area, waited for over an hour for our food. No apology was given for the delay, and it seemed like some diners left without waiting for their meals. When the food finally arrived, it was not very appetizing.

Had Christmas dinner here on Christmas day with my family. It was excellent. Great service,food and atmosphere. Would definitely do this again. Thankyou

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is lovely, always willing to go above and beyond for customers. The portions are generous and everything is very flavorful. I would definitely choose this restaurant for dinner if I am staying near Scarborough.

We went here as a group of couples one with a child and one with a dog Food was nice, staff attentive, it was A, dog friendly B, had an indoor kids play area We went because of both of these 2 plus points and would go again
