The Lounge At The Palm Court Scarborough

Our room had a strong odor of urine, the lights were not functioning, there was only one socket in the entire room, the floor was very squeaky, the bed was extremely firm, the duvet was very thin, the door lock was faulty, the toilet did not flush properly, our "window view" was of the roof cluttered with cans and trash, and we could hear everything happening outside as if we were right next to it. Overall, we were not satisfied and would not choose to stay here again.

The food was the worst I have ever experienced. The room was disgusting, and the bathroom was filthy. There were no cleaning services for 4 days. This was the worst Christmas I have ever had. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 5

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The beds were a bit hard to sleep on, but the food was amazing. The entertainment was okay, but one aspect was a let down. However, the staff was fantastic. The food and drinks were excellent and well-prepared. The rooms were top-notch, and the service was outstanding. The location was perfect, and overall, it was a great value hotel.

Went for an overnight stay as part of a coach trip. Was a bit dubious when we arrived as I have heard a few horror stories about the hotel. But was in for a pleasant surprise. The room was small for a twin but clean. Had a sea view. Evening meal was nice , good choice and hot. Breakfast again was hot and had a good choice. All was self service. Staff were all nice and friendly. Would return. Rooms: 4
