Although its location is away from the town center and the exterior (and lobby) may not be particularly striking, the rooms and facilities are clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and modern. Guests can enjoy amenities like a swimming pool, several bars, and a fully equipped gym that is also accessible to non-residents. The dining options—whether in the restaurant, at the bar, or through room service—are excellent, and the staff possess a rare understanding of their role in providing top-notch service. They consistently present themselves in smart attire, enhancing the overall impression of professionalism. For those needing conference facilities, the Crown excels in that area as well. While the service does come at a price, the quality provided justifies the cost, leaving little room for complaints. This hotel comes highly recommended.

We stayed for the Valentine's weekend, and the restaurant provided an exceptionally good four-course meal. The attention to detail was lovely, with creative sharing options for the courses. The only downside was that check-out took a while due to only one staff member being present at the reception, which made us a bit late for the spa. However, the staff overall were friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere is wonderful in a great setting, with fantastic and accommodating staff. The cocktails and beer are of high quality.
We stayed here during our first trip to Scarborough, and the hotel was just right for us. The rooms were smaller than we had anticipated, but that's to be expected in the UK. The bed was comfortable, and the steam heating kept the place nice and warm. The bathroom was decent, although the water volume and pressure were a bit low, which made showering a bit challenging. But I managed just fine!
