What Naomi Graham doesn't like about Charlottes Of Filey:
We are regulars and cannot fault the food but the service is very poor. Apart from our initial interaction with the server, to take our drinks and food order, we had to attract someone’s attention several times to order desserts or extra drinks. Surely someone...should be doing regular ‘follow ups’ to check if we needed more drinks, desserts or if everything was ok. Several other tables had people waiting a good fift... View all feedback. What Issy Ladwig likes about Charlottes Of Filey:
The food is so reliable in terms of standards. The seafood menu is great. We had the mussels which were really tasty. A bit pricey at almost £19 for a main course, but plenty of them. The pizzas are fantastic. Nice base and toppings. The service is always good. Very friendly. View all feedback.

read moreWhile the food at this restaurant is exceptional, the service needs improvement. Customers report long wait times and lack of follow up from staff. Some reviewers mention cleanliness issues that deterred them from dining. Despite these flaws, the ambiance at the restaurant is praised, with seating options like the garden room and Glasshouse being highlighted. The quality of the food itself receives rave reviews, with special mention of dishes like mussels, steak, and fish pie. However, some patrons note that prices are on the higher side. Live music is a feature that may not appeal to all diners. Overall, a mixed bag experience with most agreeing that the food and setting are excellent despite the high prices.
