Food was amazing, my favorite fish and chips spot. The gravy is to die for! The inside is slightly outdated, but the food quality easily makes up for it!Parking: Parking is a little tight as it is in a strip mall location, but I had no issues finding a spot View all feedback.
What Izaiah Schowalter doesn't like about St Andrews Fish & Chip:
The fish and chips are tasty.Price is reasonable.A pot of tea is served or you can purchase Irn Bru a Scottish pop for an additional charge. The place is dated but the staff are pleasant. View all feedback.
Went here for lunch. Got cod and chips and this special bread as i wanted a fish sandwhich but they dont carry buns or topping like lettuce or tomatoe or onion. Just this special bread which id lkle 2.95 for 2 slices. Ok so i order after asking a ton of questions which im sure came off as annoying lol my badSo cod was cooked well nice and crispy. 1 piece cut in half. A lil on the small side. Asked for chips to be crispy and they were perfectly crispy. No cutlery in bag. Had to go back to ask for some.Heres the part i didnt like: price was steep. I believe it was close to 18 , 19 dollars. Honestly, it should be priced more like 12.99 as the size of fish was that big. I love fish sandwhiches but this was bad. No bun no toppings. No thanks. Ok theres fancy bread ill give it a shot. Take a bite. Super bitter burned flavor overtakes everything. Its the crust of the bread. Avoid like covid. It totally will ruin the flavor of the sandwich.I highly suggest they start using buns and offer onion lettuce tomato. There was a very cute waitress that was helping me so thats a plusI dont live in this area so doubt i will be back.2.5 out of 5 for me
Food was quite delicious. Hot and crispy and plenty of tartar to dip. Place is comfortable and reminds me of the old school fish n chips places. The fries were great!
Dropped by for a poutine fix. Yummy homemade gravy over fresh thick-cut fries and melty cheese curds. For $6+, this hit the spot!
Outstanding halibut and Haddock with home cut fries. We are going back. The atmosphere was pleasant but it was the staff/owner who treated us so nice. We went with friends and will go back again.I know of one seniors group who are going there regularly and rave about the food.Parking: Easy parking.
Fantastic fish and chips. Building is getting a little dated but it also has a very homey kind of feel. It's simple, it's delicious, it's affordable. What more can I say.
