What Maiya Gottlieb doesn't like about Butera's Of Sayville:
The food was so bland and just not good. Eggplant Rolatini was dry, baked clams were mushy, entrees were just had no flavor. We were so disappointed with it. Place seemed kind of run down too as far as the decor. Thankfully the staff was very pleasant and the manager was very accommodating to our table when we explained that we were unhappy. The food was very good, the full and half portion menu is a little confusing at times, but we will probably go back again and make sure we order our entrées correctly and that the server understands what we want.
