GREAT SUNDAY BRUNCH! BEST **** MARY EVER! We love this newly renovated restaurant so much. Our go to Friday night place and now our go to brunch!!! The food is excellent, and the service is good. We went tonight for the first time. It was just two of us. We will never be back. We waited for nearly 30 minutes before a waitress came. We ordered and waited another 10 or so minutes and nothing, not even drinks, had arrived. Yet diners who had arrived after us were being served food and drinks. We asked to speak to the manager. DO NOT HAVE A PARTY HERE... EVER!!!!! The owner, MIKE, is the rudest/most unprofessional person that I have ever dealt with in the restaurant business. A few weeks before the party I contacted the restaurant to ask a few questions about the menu so that I could make decisions about the menu for the party. I was spoken to in a rude and rushed tone, as if I was a bother to him. He was annoyed that I had questions and didn 't want to finalize the menu so he hung up with me. (Please note he called me at 8am!!!??? One week before the party I hadn 't heard from him to finalize ANYTHING about the party. I called and left a message for Mike to finalize the menu. When he called me back again I was spoken to in a very rude and condescending way. He again was trying to rush me off the phone when I had questions about the party. I had questions because he had never discussed any of the details of the party with me previously. He told me I am very particular and picky and usually the conversation is 10 minutes. I had basic questions, I.e. how much does a child cost, what is included with the cake/what options do I have for filling etc. My questions were relevant and necessary and he made me feel like I was wrong for even asking a question!! He also spoke to me in a very demeaning way, for example I asked him a similar question two times and his response I already told you the answer to that, didn 't you hear me, I already answered that !!! I was shocked!!! I can 't even explain the nasty/disgusting tone of voice in which he spoke to me, a customer who was going to be paying him a handful of money!!! It was completely appalling! He rushed me off the phone telling me would would talk the next day because he had a party of 70 coming in and he thought it would be a 10 minute conversation. Nonetheless he left me in tears, regretting the fact that I ever booked my party with Mike and his restaurant. He called me back a few minutes later to tell me that word choices I used were too strong for him (I told him that I felt like he was attacking me verbally!!! . There was no apology and again he put it all on me!!! The nerve!!!! I told him maybe my choice of words was wrong but he was rude and it was appalling. He called me back a third time!!! In this conversation he apologized and put it on the fact that he was stressed about this 70 person party coming in. Again, NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS!! He blames everything he does wrong on someone else. He only called me back because he didn 't want to lose the party! Unfortunately, I had to have my party there because it was a week before and in the summer there were no other restaurants available. I was heartbroken that such a special party, a baptism, had to be at this awful restaurant. The day of the party I tried to be optimistic. What a joke this place was. First off the air conditioning in our party room was broken! Mike the owner told me it 's because it 's hot out made me walk outside and everything! Treating me like I am a dummy when his manager/employee told me that the system wasn 't working correctly and they had called someone to come and look at it. My guests were miserable!!!!! Sweating and so uncomfortable!!! He did nothing but blame something else, the weather, rather than taking accountability. Aside from sweating, the food came out for the guests all at different times. Guests were waiting forever for their food to come out. It was unacceptable. Then, everyone who ordered salmon, it wasn 't cooked! Al these guests were sending back their food. The kitchen was horrible and the food was less then par. Nonetheless, the party was an embarrassment and the servers knew it! They were even complaining to us and said that they understand our disappointment. Apparently other people who had parties complained about Mike as well, knowing that I haven 't been the only one to complain justified my feelings. I will never go back to this establishment and I will continue to tell other not to as well. If the owner is reading this, you need to get out of the business. Your actions, tone of voice and unprofessional demeanor are DISGUSTING!!!
We had my daughter's Bridal shower here four years ago and it was so nice so my daughter had my 70th birthday surprise party here over the weekend. It was so nice. The food is delicious and the staff was very friendly. The beef was so tender that you don't even need a knife. Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place.
Went for dinners tonight, I had the Bake clams and Chicken Brocheta, it was cook to perfection, my dessert was the cream brûlée, it was so delicious! Rosalie my waitress was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Mike Turner the owner is very accommodating and so professional!
My second time in here They have a executive chef that is a woman named Maureen Very nice .the food is very pleasant nice portions I love the chicken pot pie So many positive things to say
