La Chaise Longue - Savines-le-Lac

My friend and I fell from La Chaise Longue hoping for a quick bite for lunch when you visit Savines le Lac as part of our Summer Hols. When we arrived, the waiters were really friendly and very accommodating. We sat and showed the menu and we noticed that the portions looked huge and food was quite expensive for lunch. So we decided to get only beverages, the waiters happily committed and sorted us with our drinks. Once the owner/manager realized that we only order drinks, they just started moving our bags and insisted that we sat elsewhere when we don't eat, moving us to the back of the patio away from our beautiful viewpoint of the lake. This would have been quite understandable if all the other tables were occupied and other customers waited to sit, but we were one of three pairs in an area with 20 30 tables on Monday at 2:00. What made the situation even worse was that one of the occupied tables had friends of the manager who sat on it, and she had no problem with them only drinks in the main area of the restaurant. Overall La Chaise Longue is in an amazing location, but the behavior of the lady who ran the restaurant this day was very unpleasant and unwilling and I would certainly not want to give them something again. I hope this information is useful for all Trip Advisor users considering visiting this facility.

We have kept ourselves a little lunch and rest during a motorcycle trip over this place We found and amazing location on the side of a beautiful mountain lake The location is very nice the staff is very polite and fast But the most beautiful surprise was the food, really good with a touch of exotic I beat the Thai tartaric acid!

Last evenings of holidays are always unforgettable and so was that! Located on the beach, the solarium, delicious food, charming staff made all the perfect last night. The wok dishes were delicious, the dessert of Toblerone Surprise was a pleasure and the wine was also good. Not so easy to find, but the local bakery gave us instructions.

When you travel, the biggest problem you face with food is not knowing where to go. Faced with tourist centres, canopies and rude bar staff I can assure you, this place will not only relieve the hungry traveller but enlighten the foody and more than please the connoisseur out there. The food and service here is simply exceptional. Marvellous!

Wow. Looking for a place to eat/drink right on a stunning beach with fabulous views......this is it. A great place to relax.
