Classic Mekong River at low prices. Eat big help and delicious. The chefs are very good. Delicious. All Thai and Lao foods. The setting is wonderful upper restaurant of Teak hanging over the river. Downstairs they have a raft restaurant. Sad A lot of modern minimalist loud boom bars along the main river road that take away their business. I ate great atmosphere here every second night. It was my great fun in this idle city watching sunset over Mekong river with delicious food on this floating resto.
The only restaurant where you can sit and enjoy the sunset on mekong
I liked this place, the location, ambience and even the food was good. But for the price (and this kind of food) I would rather eat across the river, for less money and what I consider to be a better taste. The restaurant seems to be very successful with groups of what looked like Lao Civil Servants having staff gatherings. Similar to what I have experienced in these type of restaurants in the capital city of Vientiane.
Lovely setting. The Mekong is a majestic river. Had the Grilled Fish Lao Style. Great flavours and textures and price and big enough for 2 to share....
