We tried to find a place to eat on a Saturday night that wasn't packed. We saw the good reviews for this place and decided to review it. The line moved fast, even though she was busy. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. My husband cooked the little shrimp and it was amazing. I have the fried Calamari with frits and a cup of shells. All except the Calamari was super fresh and the temperature was HOT (... View all feedback.
Very pleasant little seafood restaurant with a fast food atmosphere, but the quality was good ABOVE Fast Food! The shares for the price were excellent!!! I had the 3 fish tacos a sweet tea it was under $12! The tacos were very tasteful that they did not skip to the amount of fillings. They were able to put us quickly as we had a bigger party during a busy time. The only drawback was that it was cold outside, I really wanted a hot bowl of Clam Chowder, but they were out. I'm not taking away from the review because everything else was delicious! The staff was super friendly helpful. We'll be back!
Had a delicious meal at the Savannah Seafood Shack on our recent trip through Savannah! I got the Shrimp Cone, Hubby got a Shrimp PoBoy, and kids got chicken tenders and fried shrimp. Restaurant was casual, you're seated at a table, then given a menu, and go to the counter to order. Food is brought to your table when it's ready. Not a lot of soda options in the fountain, and the Lemonade wasn't working, so I settled for water, even though we paid for a soda. Not worth the fuss to go back to the counter for a couple bucks. Food came out hot and delicious! I loved my Shrimp Cone! Coleslaw was seasoned well and not too heavy. Had a bit of Hubby's PoBoy and it was even more delicious than my meal! I also had a small side of Hush Puppies! So good! Even had real corn in them! Great seasoning mix, fried to perfection! Daughter complained a little that she would have liked more Shrimp in her meal, son ate up his chicken well. A hopping place, there was almost always a wait while we were there, but never too terribly long. The food was worth it! Overall, great experience, and I'd happily return if I find myself in the Savannah area again!
What a delicious meal! I ordered the low country shrimp boil, it was good, perfectly cooked, but could have used a touch more seasoning. It had a spicy kick but not overwhelming (I wish I had asked for more heat) The fish tacos were really good but took forever to get them. Cute place.
Food was very good. I had the shrimp tacos and my wife had the fish po boy. Carly and the staff were very helpful and did a fine job! Price points were very reasonable. The dining had a nice down home atmosphere. (4 stars to leave some room for improvement).
Excellent! We share the crabs and cook the low land. To share a lot. The crabs were mini-creb cakes 5 per order and came with Remoulade and were delicious. Cooking the Love Land was also excellent and so much food for under $15. We were lucky not to wait in a Mon night.
