My friend and I were visiting from out of town, and stopped in for lunch at this restaurant near our hotel. I ordered the club sandwich recommended by server...it was very disappointing! The club sandwich was absolutely dry! The sandwich had about a half inch of tomato and lettuce in a couple of places throughout and hardly a pinch of mayo, so I asked for mayonnaise to try to doctor it up, but even that didn ' t.help . I informed our server, who called the manager, over to speak with me about it. This manager lady had a nasty attitude with zero customer service skills. Upon arriving at our table, she said to me, I heard you said that the food was nasty. And I No, that 's not what I said. What I said was that this food is dry and unsatisfactory, but the fries were good. I explained to her that I had tried to doctor it up to keep from making a complaint. However, this manager 's attitude sucked to the highest degree even through her facial expression and tone of voice. She did not apologize for the food not tasting good. Nor did she recommend trying to replace it...NOTHING...She just walked off from our table. Although she did take that meal off of our bill, she could have at least acknowledged and apologized for the fact that the food was unsatisfactory, or that we wouldn 't be charged for the club sandwich meal. My friend had fried fish and scallops and said her meal was okay. Also, please try to drink a hot drink because both glasses of our water tasted like toilet water. I don 't know where they 're getting their water from, but it it takes like it came out of a river or out of a toilet. Please do not drink it. Even the ice tea tasted and smelled like pungent toilet water or unfiltered river water. The water was Nasty! The only good thing about this visit was that our server was absolutely nice, courteous, and apologetic..she got tipped for that, not for the food.
