Hy-vee Market Grille Express - Savage

We waited 30 minutes for our coffee. The food arrived cold and there were only 2 tables with umbrellas. No one attended to us.

I don't even know where to start with this restaurant review. The place was practically empty, with only a few tables occupied. As someone with almost 13 years of experience in the restaurant industry, it felt like the staff were struggling to handle what should have been a simple Monday morning shift. We stood at the entrance for a few minutes without anyone greeting us or directing us to a table. When we finally sat down, we noticed that the supposedly sanitized tables were still dirty with leftover dishes and half-eaten food. It took nearly 35 minutes for someone to take our drink order, and even then they got it wrong. When our food finally arrived, it was cold and not what we had ordered. The service was slow and unattentive, with the server even rushing us to finish our meal so he could go home. The restaurant was also running promotions that were not honored during our visit. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our experience and have no intention of returning to this restaurant. We had high hopes based on its reputation at the Mall of America, but unfortunately, it fell short in every aspect. We will definitely be sharing our negative experience with others.

This restaurant is consistently empty, with more staff than customers. Don't expect a relaxing meal here. The food and service are mediocre, unless you enjoy hearing the drama of the bartenders.

The food was awful and VERY over priced they only serve burgers now i miss when it was Hy-Vee market grill so much better you can tell the burgers are frozen patties and my burger was cold so thats nice also DO NOT get the onion ring they are Disgusting this place used to be boooming and now there is practically empty would give a 0 star if i could

We were a bit confused when asked to walk out of the restaurant to order (we entered through the restaurant doors, not Hy-Vee). We both ordered a burger and onion rings, sweet potato tots and fried pickles as an appetizer.Positives: Food tasted good and the fried pickles and tots were hot.Negatives: We both ordered our burger well done, and both got pink cool burgers. The onion rings were ice cold. All the food came out at the same time, including the appetizer. We were intrigued that one tv screen showed the kitchen staff making your food... The kitchen worker (who had told us he was the manager when he brought out our food) wasn't wearing gloves and picked up something from the floor and tossed it in the trash, then returned to making food without washing their hands.Doubtful that we'll go back. 2 burgers, 2 sides, 2 sodas and one appetizer with tip cost $60.
