One star minus for the slow service. But the price and the meal is what I expected. You can taste typical Hungarian dishes. No worries, you can’t make a wrong choice : . View all feedback.
What Jozef B doesn't like about Múzeumkert Vendéglő:
Good place for coffee, however the prices for food gone up and the added value seems is not present. The place now matches with higher level restaurants however it seem that only with price. View all feedback.
Yesterday, Sunday, we came back from a trip for lunch. There are three of us, my daughter, my wife and me. It was about a quarter of an hour before they looked at us at all. Then we looked at what we wanted from the menu, and we were told that it wasn't available...okay...but then what's on the menu. Specifically, it was about pizza. We quickly changed because by the time they come back, dinner has to be ordered. The soft drink was brought first. Raspberry lemonade...at least that's what it's called, lukewarm thin syrup with a wedge of lemon. Well... I say the doctor can operate with two people... Then the apprentice waiter boy came again... my brother brought such a plate that the scratch marks of the knife and fork were black on the plate and the cutlery had white spots from the detergent that had dried on it. ... at least I hope so. Then the food...it's a share...we ordered a plate for two....the center of the chicken was pink, the fillet was salty and cold....the mushroom was a slightly bitter juicy cheese and the rice was dry. We ate what we dared to because our daughter was hungry and so were we... and we waited long enough for her.... yes, we still had an hour and a half drive ahead of us. There are so many positives that if we get an upset stomach, we know what it is. NEVER... Service: 1 Location: 1
Very pleasant typical Hungarian environment. I like it. Excellent classic dishes, large portions, very tasty. Reasonable prices. About €25 for 2 meals and drinks. What I really have to highlight, the menu is also in Slovak and the staff is willing to understand. For me, great for stopping and eating. Payment by card without problems. Hello! This also happened: for the first time in my life, I did not tip the waiter! We sat at 35 degrees on the terrace with our two and a half year old son. I was suspicious when I walked in and asked if there was a high chair, a waiter pushed me by the door. Then I thought that this could be a self-service place, the person working there will pick it up, take it out, and clean it somewhere else, not me... Anyway, we do it, we're parents, that's our job. We choose drinks, read the menu. They bring out the drink, delicious al lemonade. I tell the wooden-faced waiter what kind of plate we want for two, but the most urgent thing would be a portion of French fries for my little son separately. Well, it's half an hour with us if I talk to them nervously! In half an hour, I buy the seed potatoes, plant them in a row, water them, spray them, dig them up, peel them, cut them up and bake them. Especially if it is needed by a small child who is already very hungry : I said boring at the end, for the first time in my life there is no jatt. He looked like a big kind of rabbit, anointing the responsibility on his colleague. The bill was quite thick, including a 10% service charge, but this service was nothing. We were there for almost an hour and a half, the presence of the waiter was not disturbing. At 35 degrees, you should pay attention to who the potential lemonade consumer might be, because it can be sold at a very high profit. Typically, the place you will never visit again. Let's say, near the border, he still lives off the bills, for example from us. As I see it, this is a problem that has existed for years, the management doesn't care either, because then there wouldn't be so many negative opinions. Those who are no longer suitable for hospitality, why force them? One star, don't eat here! Service: 1 Location: 1
They cook great, but the staff is nervous and that's not good advertising. We waited 35 minutes for the soup and 1 hour for the food as such Service: 2 Location: 4
We are returning guests, we come home to our parents' house for vacation every summer and we always go to the restaurant for 1 day. Last year, they served us faster, but now unfortunately we couldn't eat the daily menu (although we arrived for lunch) because it quickly sold out. Never mind, we chose another lunch. Hopefully next summer the service will be faster because there are tasty dishes and that's why we like to return.
