To put it quite simply, this restaurant has amazing food. The meat is so flavourful and of great quality. I have not tried anything that I haven't enjoyed. I like the decorations in the restaurant as well, it creates a nice atmosphere. I definitely will keep coming here for a delicious donair! View all feedback.
What Kendrick Anderson doesn't like about Afghan Kabob & Donair Ltd:
Been in three times but never ate. They only have lamb kabob. I dont like lamb/mutton. I like chicken or beef. Not sure if they only sell lamb, or if they are just always out of chicken, but either way I won't be back. Cmon...Afghan Kabob, I was so looking forward to eating at your restaurant I dropped in three times. What a disappointment. View all feedback.
I went with a group of 5 and we ordered the platter which comes with various grilled meat, afghan rice and pita. Everything on that platter was incredibly good. From the tandoori chicken to the beef kabobs, the flavour was all there. Rice and pita was good as well. We all agreed this was an excellent meal.
Dated a crazy who loved this place. She was batshit, but yknow what, she was right this place is ight.<br/ <br/ If your reading this, I blocked you because reasons.<br/ <br/ That is all.
This place serves great traditional donairs. I've had the beef and the lamb and honestly there isn't much difference between them. They don't have an assembly line ala Subway where you get to pick and choose what you want on your donair, but I like them the way they make them (minus the pickles). If donairs are what you're after, I have to stress that these are not newfie-style filled with sweet sauce or the meat-filled monstronsities served at Super Donair. They use a lot of veggies on the donair and a combination of ingredients that includes banana peppers, onions, lettuce, pickles and tomato. In my opinion this all works fantastically, but it's obvious it's not for everyone. The rest of the menu is a little too expensive for me to consider ordering at lunch, but I hope to have an excuse to try it on a return visit. Staff are great guys.
Small cafe style restaurant with middle eastern fare. I went in with a friend at about 6pm on a Tuesday night. The only donair meat they had was lamb, with beef heating up (not ready), and no sign of chicken. Got the lamb donair (in a wrap with veggies and sauce) and a donair plate (on flavoured rice with salad on the side). Didn't look into the Qorma/kebabs because we had heard good things about the donair, and the other stuff is pricier. From what I can recall, the prices on the menu uploaded on Zomato are outdated.<br/ <br/ The donair was very good. The middle of the wrap consisted of almost all meat, while the ends had more veggies. I enjoyed the banana peppers and onions, which weren't present in the plate. The meat was a bit saltier than I expected, the wrap had a hint of sweetness (I'm not sure if it was from the spices in the meat or the sauce). <br/ <br/ Overall it was a great meal and a good change of pace!
