Sicily Restaurant & Pizzeria - Sarnia

We always love coming here! The food is second to none as it is always freshly made and consistently amazing. Anyone who says it is not true Italian food has not been to Italy which I have! Wait times may be longer here when it is busy, so be fore warned but if you expect quality food then it is worth the wait. And making it a night out to enjoy with dinner companions is what it's all about. A great atmosphere at a family run restaurant. You wont find more reasonable prices from main dishes to appetizers to a wine list. Portions are more than generous with every meal I have had.

Went to the restaurant as they have real good steaks. I can't complain about the wait staff! They did an excellent job keeping our waters filled , We ordered 2 fillet mignons, then waited for more the 2 hours for our meal to finally show up. We then found out it , there was only 2 cooks in the back on a busy Friday night, they should hire some more cooks for busy times .Other then waiting 2 and 1/2 before finally leaving the meal was excellent!

Greeted and served by a very bubbly young lady. She turned out to be our sever as well. The servings are huge and very good. I had enough for dinner the following day and it was still delicious.

Not sure if we arrived at a bad time for dinner or not. Our waitress seemed more interested in what was happening at other tables but we ordered our dinner and after a long wait it arrived. The amount of food would have fed an army all three of us had to use a take-away box, - a first for me. What was disappointing was the presentation, a pile of spaghetti with a large amount of sauce - period. When ordering we were asked what sauce we wanted - about 4 or 5 choices, our guest choose Rosay when the bill came there was an up-charge of $4.00, kinda naughty, we should at least have been told of the up-charge when ordering.

Four of us went for dinner. Waitress opened with inappropriate comment on how one of the guests looked (hair/clothing). Waitress advised in was management policy that we provide our entire order at once rather than pace our order for an extended evening at a nice restaurant. The entrees came way too fast with not enough time to enjoy the appetizers. Meal was very rushed. Waitress complained about her long hours without a cigarette. The food was good but we won't go back to this restaurant.
