What Alfred Guth doesn't like about Bell Tower Bistro:
Nice atmosphere. Food is ok. Do not plan to have a conference calls as the music is loud and they will not turn it down although nobody is there. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
I think this local American diner style joint is a must-visit goal if you happen to be in Saratoga, but not inspiring enough to visit Saratoga for it. We had brunch after a hike nearby and in general were really happy with the food we got. Orange juice was freshly pressed, the Steak Omelet was decently delicious, and the Churros wafer... tasted like Churros. But this place could have been much more if the cook really prepares the dishes with a little more discipline in the kitchen. Everything was more neutral. It almost felt like the cook had forgotten the recipe or was not sure how to shape the taste. In addition to orange juice, the ingredients were not so high quality or extremely fresh. Don't get me wrong. We had a great time in the indoor terrace. Nice place for a local brunch. It's just not worth looking for it.
A so sweet café, love the ambience here. You also have a very nice, large outdoor terrace. The best article we ordered was the choir waffle.. Wow, it was amazingly good! Santa Maria Cruz Crepe was okay, too small, I don't think I'd order it again. My friend ordered the Mexican omelet, he said it was really good, it looked delicious!
What happened to the music? Great place for breakfast or lunch, pet-friendly and great service. Food is great, I love the quiche and the crepes. Beautiful decoration and beautiful terrace. The only problem lately is that they have changed the music, I think nobody wants to hear hip hop in the morning. It used to be good and classic, I hope they change it back.
Standard brunch food—the smoked salmon eggs Benedict was good but not great. Think some contrasting texture could take it to the next level. The country potatoes were standard but would’ve preferred some more favor and crisp. Fresh fruit was not very sweet. Food is more like a 3.5 but rounding up because the service was great. Overall, an ok experience.
Great food and atmosphere, but waiting was too long, it was almost an hour since I left until my order came
