I love this place. For years come and never disappointed. Yes, they are busy, but the staff is always pleasant and the place itself is worth a visit. Not the best part of the city, but there is a lot of renovation in the area that can only make it better. Interesting and different menus as well as waiting staff. Good for people watching. What Alex Borg doesn't like about Station 400:
There was about a 20 minute wait although there were empty tables so it appeared they may have been short staffed. The decor is like an antique railroad station with a Pub like atmosphere. The server Austin was nice but the kitchen was backed up. It took a while for the food to come out. I had Huevos Gringos which was tasty but lukewarm. The cheese grits were dry and tasteless. They let me sneak in about 15:minutes before closing. Ordered the green tomatoes BLT which was delish. Quick service and pleasant staff.
Very traditional American food. We go to Station 400 mostly for breakfast. That's their better menus. Lunches are predictable and not as surprising. We keep going back when we want to eat classic dishes. We go back and forth with Toasted Mangos and First Watch with a preference for the latter.
Awesome place for outdoor or indoor breakfast or lunch. Their specialty dishes are really yummy.
Very much enjoyed the Crabby Patty! The cheesy grits are good also. I tried the lemon curd pancake and that was a different, tasty twist with a great pancake underneath. I look forward to returning to try other items on the menu!
So good!!! One of my favorite places in Sarasota. Mimosas are great, and so is all the food!!
