The food was incredible?. The server was amazing. Unfortunately, the take-outs crashed the diners. My meal came first (Salad and meatballs). It took about an hour before my husband's food came out (Slice of pizza and a calzone). Although apologetic, everyone had us eat alone while the other waited. First they were out of the little cake, so they stopped me without asking to a big one (because they had this) at a price of $12 extra. Then the bacon was lumps of what smells like dog food. Bacon product? Maybe... But not BACON! Finally they chose to replace my jalapenos with green paprika. I don't throw pizza, but I threw most of it. Don't mess with my bacon! View all feedback.
Looking for NY style pizza? This is the place!!! Legit the best tasting pizza in Sarasota hands down. Cannoli was also delicious. Both the pizza cannoli brought me back to NY Massive gratitude to the owner chefs! PERFECTO!!!
It's hard to find good pizza here in Florida! That's why I always go to this spot. Great family and quality food for everyone.
No visit to Sarasota is complete without a visit to Michelangelo's! The food is great, the staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. Pizza or any of the pasta dishes we have tried have all been great. The pizza reminds me of my many years in New York City.

It took about another hour before my husband's food came out (Slice of pizza and a calzone). Although apologetic, it left us each eating alone while the other waited. They should have made some provision for the obvious inconvenience, but did not. Don't let this stop you from enjoying the fabulous menu items. I have since ordered pickup twice and always have been 100% satiated.
We order the Nona Pie and gorganzola salad a few days ago and it was so good! We are pizza snobs from Connecticut and we were honestly impressed with this pie. Definitely the best pizza I have had in Florida. Good job!
