I was there on Sunday 12/06/2020 at 12 noon. I decided to go to the store, hoping to get out faster. Wrong! Many employees were simply not in a hurry. The manager (tall chubby female with short red hair) dealt with a very respectful and antagonistic exchange with a food delivery driver that complained that their order lasted more than 30 minutes. I know you say, but it's a fast food community, and while that's true, the experience says a little more. The QPC was juicy, moist and hot, and the frits were so fresh and hot I started devoting them when I got them. I was in some Mickey D's up in the north, which were NOT unforgettable places, except for their terrible food and service. This place is characterized on both fronts. Good oiled machine during the lunch break and the food STILL was HOT FRESH.????????

You completely screwed up my order. I ordered three McFlurries. The lady who spoke bad English asked me if I wanted chocolate chip or M M M cookies. I said I didn't want anything. Only 3 McFlurries who said it was ice cream with oreo cookies. the product you invented, I said. She told me it was $1.50. When driving through the window, I asked the lady to take money, which was on my order, and explained again what I ordered. She said nothing, just gave me change. At the pick-up window they tried to give me 6 cookies, and again I explained that not what I ordered. I finally got what I ordered, but what a nightmare for such a simple order! Lockwood and university. Run!
2p.m. on a sunday and they are very slow. Im the only person at the register and i've been waiting 10 minutes. No one is even at the registers to take orders.
I gave this McDonald?s a low score not only because they forget the sauces I request with my order and legitimately give me the incorrect items. It?s bc I?m on an extremely fixed income due to COVID and I always use the awesome coupons on the McDonald?s app... typically I show my coupon at the drive thru window and it works no problem. One time I had to do a pickup order and I?ve never done one. I was in a rush so I didn?t really know what I was doing. I didn?t know when you pay on the app you put the coupon there. I didn?t know how to do that. I thought they use the coupon in store. (I have a condition where my cognitive brain function is cloudier on some days more than others so I wasn?t thinking since I was already confused and in a rush). I went in there to pick up my order and asked if they needed my coupon. The manager essentially told me I couldn?t use it. And provided no alternatives. I bought those items solely because of the coupon. I am very strict with my budget and although it seems very trivial total I?ve saved a lot because of the McDonald?s app. So I overspent on items I didn?t need 100% and felt like I didn?t matter. It was a bogo Big Mac coupon I use often. I get full easily so I ration the two Big Macs and save money. And It was a treat since I was passing by . I was very disappointed bc times are tough during COVID and I don?t like feeling like just another customer. I work with people and we are taught to be human and understand what our customers go through. I understand it?s a busy location. Being understanding towards others has nothing to do with time though. It?s part of being a good person.
