We had lunch here the last time we were in Goa. And since its an okay place, decided to have a take out from here again. We ordered fish thali and pomfret in Goan sauce. To be honest, the food is good. Nothing to write home about. But okay. But the staff, or at least the guy who waited us, was sooo uninterested, and looked bored. We waited for more than 45 minutes, after which he comes out with a packed fish thali. We... My friends and I were stuck without breakfast and busy with important tasks. After being deprived of food for so long, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. The ambiance was nice and the music was perfect. However, we were not satisfied with the food. The Battered fish fry was okay, Tandoori roti was good, and the Kolhapuri Chicken was spicy but not authentic Kolhapuri Chicken. The Aloo Gobi was average, although I didn't expect curry leaves in every dish. The Sechwan fried rice was inedible due to excessive soda and food coloring. The only positive point is that it opens after 3pm when most eateries in the area are closed.
We arrived late and decided to order the main course. The Squid Masala was very good, with fresh and tasty squid. The Bangda (Goa Mackerel) masala fish fry was a favorite among everyone, especially when paired with steamed rice. The Lady Fish Fry was just okay, a bit on the dry side for our liking. The Navratan korma vegetable was not enjoyable. The Tandoori roti was nice and flaky. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy fresh seafood on a budget. The service was quick and helpful, and the ambiance was calming with comfortable seating.
We had lunch at this restaurant the last time we were in Goa, and since it's just alright, we decided to get takeout from here again. We ordered the fish thali and pomfret in Goan sauce. The food was decent, nothing exceptional. However, the staff, specifically the waiter who served us, seemed uninterested and bored. We waited for over 45 minutes before our packed fish thali was finally brought out. When we inquired about the pomfret, he claimed we never ordered it. We had to wait again and were puzzled as to why it took so long to pack the thali when everything should have been prepared in advance. We ended up leaving an hour later, disappointed with the service.

Wonder why this is number 15 out of 30 restaurants in Porvorim coz it certainly should be higher. The food is tasty and they serve huge portions. The mock tails are good. The ambiance is really nice post they re opened. If you are around porvorim or on your way back from Calungute, it is one of the good places to eat at reasonable prices. PS: They say they charge 3% extra for credit card payment but they really dont :
