This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Lima, the acevichado and Sensoji are my favorite makis. The combination of both is spectacular and makes it a worthwhile place to eat. I constantly rave about their sushi to anyone I meet. The service and locale is great, very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try a Peruvian sushi place. What User doesn't like about Sensoji:
We were stoked about the fact that it was quick takeout sushi - we needed that much. After 15 minutes we had California rolls, crispy maki, and two other more exotic suggestions via the owner. Don't get me wrong, it was great sushi, but the fish in all of them tasted like it was cooked and they could have been assembled with more poise. As well as with stronger flavors or just fresher ingredients in general. Overall... View all feedback.

I was just down in Lima recently with my fiancé and happened to come across Sensoji - we were pleasantly surprised. We had a lot of good authentic food in Lima but the rolls at Sensoji definitely resonated with us. Dido in regards to the comment about the acevichado. It was AMAZING!

I went to Sensoji with a friend and she made me try this Peruvian fusion maki called "acevichado".. at first I was skeptical but it was delicious!!! even though is "Japanese" food... this is as Peruvian as it gets!!... After my experience at Sensoji, I ordered acevichado at a couple other Japanese restaurants I went while I was in Lima, and unfortunately the quality did not compare to the acevichado at Sensojis!!!
