Contribute FeedbackChanticleer, a once loved restaurant, has seen a decline under new ownership. Customers have complained about long wait times, flavorless dishes, and stinginess when it came to compensating for poor quality food. However, some reviewers praised the delicious crab cakes and delightful atmosphere. Other positive comments highlighted the fresh, tasty food and great service. Overall, the restaurant seems to have lost some of its charm, but there are still some shining moments that patrons can enjoy. Consider visiting for specific dishes like the crab cakes, but be prepared for potential disappointments elsewhere on the menu.
What a Jewel! we came to our date tonight and loved everything we tried. started with the tomato and lobster scales and both were just perfection! we also shared a summer salad, the krioyo pasta and the fresh catch (mahi, black.) all were amazingly tasteful and decadent. had to try the wrench cake and it was the cherry top! we don't even take care of the choke and loved every bite. our waitress misty was the best! we can't wait to come back and try others dinge
While the other restaurant we tried on Sunday night gave us a one-hour wait, we were seated quickly here. The restaurant was very busy and probably needed a few more people. All four of us received exactly what we ordered. The hostess was super kind and helpful. Our waiter was overworked, but he was the BEST. We will definitely dine here the next time we're in the area.
Have loved this place for years always a “must stop” when we are in town. This was our first visit since the new owners and it was a disappointment. Food took too long (45 min), the delicious broccoli cheddar soup was water thin and had to be exchanged, the chicken bruschetta flatbread has been replaced with very dry chicken bruschetta sandwiches, and the “marinated” steak sandwich was flavorless. We want the old Chanticleer back! We may not visit this one again.
Overall good experience, what seems like a hidden gem (the bar the happy hour 3-6 pm (6 dollar per drink) was really good it has ice, but little to no ananas taste, but more from a cocos and ice cream and of course around! great place and must come back for this great drink! (but not on the menu, so I'll show you these pictures
