Yummy vegan options, the burgers were good and filling! My Omni bf loved the regular burger, the coming in butter really helped the flavor of the meat he said. Price point is a bit high, but that's like that everywhere in CA. View all feedback.
What Lily T doesn't like about Pop's Burgers Shakes:
This place is completely average. Located right on 3rd street promenade, this is a good stop for quick food when shopping. The burgers were very greasy and gave me a stomach ache. I like they that have impossible patties since I don't eat red meat and their vegan shakes are good. I can't say anything bad about this place other than it's your average burger joint. Not impressed but not disappointed. Prices are reasona... View all feedback.
I freaking love the burgers here and the service is one of kind. They have a great menu selection and the people here are really nice.
Amazing classic burgers meets the best french fries and onion rings I've ever had! I not one to shower places with compliments, but couldn't help giving credit where credit is due : Since the shutdown, I have been ordering in a lot and trying out new places. Pop's Burger and Shakes was one of those I decided to try when I had a hankering for some burgers meets fries and I haven't looked back to any other place. Their burgers are classic slam burgers with just the right amount of cheddar cheese, onions, sauce, and beef cooked to a nice almost crispy perfection all within a sweet savory bun. While sides are more of a luxury and usually the shadows of the meal, their fries and onion rings are truly out of this world why? Because they come crispy to perfection (unlike other places where they arrive soggy and aren't dripping in so much oil. Not sure how they do it but so excited that they pull it off and I get the same crispyness as if I was dining in super awesome. Other pluses (when ordering in : affordable prices provide all the fixings: napkins, sauces, drinks, and utensils great amount of food I definitely recommend and will keep coming back, thanks Pops :
Unfortunately we never got to try the food because they closed before their posted hours. We showed up on a Saturday a 7:35pm and the entire food court area was closed and looked like it had been closed for a while, like chairs stacked on tables and lights out. Their posted hours on yelp say they are open until 8pm. We drove over an hour to try this place out for them to be closed early. And a warning for anyone who hasn't been down to third street promenade in while, which was us. It really has changed and not for the better. There are so many crazy tweakers and drug use happening all around it's really quite sketchy. We had two kids with us that night and didn't feel safe at all as we walked around trying to find another place to eat at. Many of the food places were closed before 8pm and the ones that were still open had 1 1/2 hour waits. We ended up finding a pizza by the slice type of place that was open with no wait. We were sitting outside eating and some tweaker came up and started harassing us and purposely trying to scare our kids. We will not be making this drive again what a disappointing night.

This is my go-to place for a burger, I think the burgers are $6!! And yes they're good, so skip all that fast-food bull..and get your lunch here.. FYI-they give you a ton of fries; enough fries for 3-4 persons. And my friend loves their Vegan burger and it's just also $6..which is a STEAL!! You can't buy a vegan burger for less than $10, ANYWHere!! And a big added Bonus, Is that Pop's is located inside Social Eats on the promenade. So they have a taco place and a few other options for friends who don't want a burger
