Five Guys Burgers Fries - Santa Cruz

Dirty place with dirty workers!!! They were not even busy but long time waiting, so I decided complaining. Then I saw one worker handling my burger to his colleague so he bags it. I was shocked that the guy opened the aluminum paper but couldn 't tell what he was doing with it. His co-worker immediately took it out of his hands, re-model it and re-wrapped in a new aluminum paper and bag it himself. Once he called my number, I asked what his co-worker did with my burger. He stuttered I am sorry sir? So I asked him to garbage it bc I wouldn 't take the risk to eat it at all. They didn 't want to refund me so I left without dinner and $12.59 less in my pocket. Never again . I 'm actually very surprised how this place is still on business.

Staff was pretty rude, manager told there staff I told you not to let the homeless in . Sir I 'm not homeless, I just don 't have any fashion sense. Hurt my feelings and killed my vibe.

Food was great, staff were rude af tho. Probably cuz they’re all young even the manager? They used their phones out in the open and were loudly talking about other customers.

I ordered this through Uber eats. There wasn't an option for chips or whipped cream for the milkshake Great hot dog. Interesting grilled cheese sandwich. Ok burger. The milkshake didn't have whipped cream. One of the great things about having Covid and ordering through Uber eats is that I get a chance t try restaurants out without having to actually go there. I won't be going t 5 guys in person.

Waited 30+ mins for my “fast” food order. Turned out it was already ready since 10 mins the guy was just too blind and didn’t call it out. So I had a cold burger that I couldn’t eat since I had to catch my bus to San Jose where food is not allowed.
