We had the option of two dining styles: a regular restaurant setting or Korean BBQ, and we opted for the regular dining area. They offered eight different appetizers, and customers could request free refills. The tofu pot soup was incredibly flavorful, and the short rib was quite tender. The staff also kindly advised guests not to leave valuables in their cars. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and we’ll lik... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jang Su Jang:
One of the more well-known Korean BBQ spots, but it doesn't quite measure up to 10 Metzger. I'm not a huge fan of Korean BBQ myself, but my friends are. We all found the food to be decent, but not worth the price. Additionally, the waitress was not very friendly towards those who didn't speak Korean. View all feedback.
I had high hopes, and i want to like this place, but it just missed the mark. For starters the shopping center is ghetto and there are multiple signs saying to not leave any valuables in your car since there are tons of break ins. Props for them giving customers heads up, but I'd be worried if it was dark. Menu has everything you'd expect, and portion size for bbq is good. They also gave us a free soon du bu tofu soup). Service is great, and bbq is handled by an employee so really just had to sit back and eat. I ordered the Chadol Baki and Samgyupsal $42 each), but i found both of them to be on the drier side. It could be a combination of fat content and overcooking, but bbq was just so so.
BESTTTTTT place for bbq and soup coming from a korean american who lives off of yukgaejang and calbi. stop by if ur craving Korean and are able to spend a decent amount
I ordered the mushroom sundubu-jjigae a couple of times on DoorDash and it was really delicious! I have a really low spice tolerance so I usually order the mild version. I also loveeee king oyster mushrooms, so really appreciate how much of that they put in the stew. The dish comes with the perfect amount of rice (a little too much actually, I can never finish the rice and some banchan (the kimchi is really good~ . A bit pricey but overall 10/10 and would definitely order again!
Efficient, standard flavor. Very crowded and noisy due to a big traffic. BBQ Smells nice, although we only take the soup and seafood pancake. True Korean flavor, not disappointing.
Yummy!! Delicious authentic Korean food. Ordered for take-out at around 3pm on a Monday, and our order was ready in 20 minutes. Ordered a bunch of food to-go and the everything was packaged nicely with cleanly wrapped utensils. They provided two set of Ban Chan for five entrees that we ordered, so we asked for one more. The bulgogi, wang kalbi (must cut since connected to the big bone), LA kalbi (short ribs) were seasoned well and juicy. The vegetable soondubu soup and yoogaejang soup were delicious. Definitely coming back next time we are in the area!
