This place! Such a classic, Santa Rosa staple. Mostly favored as a fantastic breakfast spot, I love it for lunch. They make the BEST sandwiches (our go-to is the #1-grilled). What Elliot J doesn't like about Mac's Kosher Style Deli:
Service was awesome but if you came from the East Coast, or even east of Chicago (which they claim as origins) not even close to real Jewish style deli. Don't even use brown mustard! I came in to cure a little homesickness for a NYC Jewish deli and left feeling even worse. View all feedback.
My partner and I visited Mac's for the first time because we were craving a good pastrami sandwich and it did not disappoint! The wait staff is friendly and attentive when the restaurant is busy. The menu is huge with SO MANY sandwiches to choose from!Next time we'll have to try a breakfast item because they look so delicious also. We'll definitely be returning ????
As I entered I was quickly greeted and sat and a neatly set table, the waitress was very kind and quickly brought us drinks. Our food came in a very timely manner and it?s was cooked WELL. I?m a big fan of corned beef for breakfast so I like to try iteverywhere. You can tell it?s cooked fresh here and not from a can. As we were eating she was attentive and brought us the checkbefore we were done. The reason I mention this is because I love being able to pay prior to being finished eating. I think it?sso convenient to be done with the bill and then be able to just get up and go versus waiting around for the bill. I reallyenjoyed this restaurant and I think the run it very well.
Truly an institution. Family owned and run. Wonderful pastrami and Swiss #2. Recommended by a local as where to eat. Really great find! Busy but got a table and it was worth it!
The food and service were fantastic. I had the corned beef with Swiss #2) and curly fries. They were out of Onion rings. It was a go back to, for sure experience!
