Authentic Peruvian food. The taste is great, servings are great ambience is wonderful. Good service. Try the Lomo Saltado, it's really good if you like beef of the Calamari Frito for appetizers. You have some good vegetarian options most importantly, you can go there with your children or order delivery as they have children's menu View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Inka Mama's Santa Ana:
We drove almost two hours to celebrate my birthday in this Peruvian restaurant. The food was not on their higher rating, I will give 1 or less. The rice was dry and not fresh, tamale dough and the chicken cold inside. The Lomo was badly done and the meat was hard. I took it home and threw it away. We attacked our money and we are very disappointed. View all feedback.
Great food and drinks, pisco sour and dessert ?sweet Francesca? are delicious! Also the servers are amazing too, highly recommend!
I visited with friend who wanted to try real Peruvian food. We google a good restaurant near us and we find this one. We ordered Seco de Cabrito with Tacu Tacu and Estofado de Pollo. The meat of the Seco was ok but the sauce had a lot of green onions. The Tacu Tacu was full of onions and extra green onions. It did not look like Tacu Tacu. It tasted like rice with gravy and green onions, no good at all! I did not finished and I complained but the waitress said this was their style. No Authentic) The Estofado was too rich. You could taste the cilantro and with little flavor. My friend was disappointed and could not finish it. Overall it was a very bad experience. The total for both dishes was around $46. As a Peruvian I was expecting better. I will not come back to this restaurant again.
I was very dissatisfied with this area, now I have been to a few different Peruvian spots. But this one was pretty bad, the chicken was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. It seemed like they microwaved the chicken to be honest or they had it from yesterday. Also there rice tasted like day old rice. Wasn?t very pleasant and tasteless. The Lomo Saltado was basic but decent enough. The ceviche was ok, it was very warm and not that well executed. I don?t like giving bad reviews but sometimes we need to, because that chicken was terrible and disgusting. Why would you thaw out a frozen chicken on a microwave.
My favorite dish from this place has to be the chaufa de mariscos. Of course the chicha morada was gone before we could even eat that?s why there is no picture lol. The place is kept clean and also social distancing is in place.
Wonderful food, quiet and great service. A small part of Peru in the orange county
