Amici Brentwood Trattoria - Santa Ana

Birthday party. So much fun. Calm down, grown parents. The food was great. Service was great and the best of all employees ensured that we all had everything we could want, they took pictures for us and sang happy birthday. Absolutely.

The service was disputed, missed order, had reservations and was placed 20 minutes late. Overload, but has been corrected. Talk, but not our problem. This is a well-known restaurant, in my neighborhood, but not back.

So I came there and we were totally ignored. We waited 10 minutes for someone to recognize us. When we finally approached, we were treated with a bad attitude from this rude waiter. His name is Diego. Well, we felt like leaving this restaurant right away, but my husband convinced me to stay. So to make this story short.. He made our orders wrong and our appetizers and the main course came together. I knew I should have left. The food wasn't great. The waiter suggested very expensive entrees and appetizers, but we were disappointed. Also beware because he charged us for a bottle of wine and luck my husband saw the real price on the menu! Exciting experience in this restaurant. In addition, all Diego told us too much about his personal life I found unprofessional. He said he hated his boss and that he will give up in March 2023. Jaja what a joke this place!

I went there for the first time the food was delicious! I had the spaghetti All'Aragosta e Arugola, it comes in a spicy sauce. I like the fact that they were ready to stop in a sauce without sauce and it was teally good. Her Zuppa Di Pomodoro e Basilico, was good, but I felt there was something missing to clarify how crushed tomoates cooked. Your bread or Pita bread they brought was hard, not a fan of bread like that. Service I must say I don't know if I was new and all the others were regular and known with first names, but as the first timer I didn't feel so welcome, asked about the bill and took forever. I saw where we asked a person she went and informed someone else and she stood around to talk to other employees, only talk and how 10mins later he came over we asked again about the bill and still took his time to greet others took them at their table and talked to them. I wouldn't recommend if you're new in the area or just drive around even though you were eating well all the other sucked...

Great indoor and outdoor ambiance; they make any pasta to your liking and order, (my chicken spinach fettuccine is not on the menu), it was nice! Chocolate Volcano cake is also something to try!
