Contribute FeedbackCafe Ole has everything you need for a great night in Puerto Aventruras. Wonderful food. Amazing service. And if you go on Saturday or Sunday night, great music. (And they're hoping to add Thursday music back to the mix. Recently went there with our family of ten and everyone left satiated and satisfied. The friendliness of this place (and the great deserts make it one of the favorite hang-outs for locals, but also a great find for tourists like myself.
We now live in Puerto Aventuras, and come to this restaurant frequently. We have tried several items on their menu, and they’re all delicious. The service is great, too. We make sure to eat early so as not to have to listen to the singing groups, not because they don’t sound good, but because the music is too loud for our old ears. This is a great restaurant! Be sure to try it.
Went to cafe olé Sunday night for all you can eat ribs and was really disappointed. The ribs were very fatty looked like they still had the white membrane on them. They did bring out all we wanted to eat. Three people ordered ribs and the other three ordered coconut shrimp but there wasn’t hardly any coconut on them. We ordered margaritas but they were bitter and not drinkable. My daughter pulled the new owner aside and his response was “I’ll talk with the kitchen “. He made no attempt to take of the situation or even apologize. This used to be one of the good restaurants in town, but not anymore.
My spouse and I have been coming to Cafe Ole during our vacaton each of the past four years. Always enjoyed it and reviewed it very favorably. Until last night. Saturday night and the restaurant was full. OK, because we were second in line for a table, behind another couple. We waited about 15 minutes, while an elderly trio arrived behind us. One of them barged through, very impolitely and spoke to the mesero. Soon a table became available, the mesero cleaned it and waved, not to the young couple ahead of us, not to us, but to the bullish trio behind us. As they went to the table, I saw one grace the palm of the mesero. Is that what it takes to get a table now? This isn't Las Vegas. I assumed they didn't want my business, left and will not return.
Great cocktails, great banter with the bartender Luis. Perfect service, outstanding food and very very chill vibe. Fave bar in puerto aventuras. Must recommend!!! Luis the bartender is amazing, cocktail expert
