Yesterday - die Bar

Unbelievable. Service is the best. To be the place in St.Pölten. We had cocktails and got snacks and service from this world.

We went there with friends who were there before. The owner is behind the bar and prepares the cocktails. The place was packed when we arrived, but every cocktail was prepared with care and love. It was a real treat to see him... It was obvious that he was proud of what he was doing. Ask what the cocktail of the day is. They change daily as the name applies. All cocktails are made with fresh fruits, he will not tell you what and how many spirits he adds to them. One thing is certain they are delicious. When we were there, the daily cocktail was with mango and strawberry. I counted three different types of alcohol added, but I couldn't see what it was. He also makes his own Tonic water. If you order a Gin Tonic, you will get a stone glass with a large ice cube, a shot glass with the gin and the tonic in a small bottle. The whole is served on a granite plate and garnished with various herbs. The best part was still coming. The owner has a safe in the basement, where he holds rare and expensive cognacs and whiskys. Ask if you could see them if business is allowed, he will be happy to show you. One of the cognacs has a value of over EUR 20000. We'll be back.

Coole Lokalität für Genießer von hervorragenden Cocktails, verschiedenen excellenten Rumsorten, Whiskys....... Preise sind etwas gehobener, dafür trinkt man nur exquisite Getränke die das Geld wert sind.

Während das Yesterday von außen recht unscheinbar ist, offenbart es nach dem Eintreten ein angenehmes, gediegenes Ambiente, das zum Verweilen einlädt. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Bars bestehen die hervorragenden und aufwendig dekorierten Cocktails hier nicht hauptsächlich aus Eis. Dazu gibt es Knabbereien und Karotten-Sticks.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre, sehr gastfreundliche Bedienung, tolle Drink-Ideen mit teils selbst gestalteten Spirituosen. Die Präsentation der Getränke auf dem Tisch sehr kreativ und aussergewöhnlich. Einfach überall das gewisse Extra, genial!
