Smokey Bones Fire Grill - Sanford

The smokestack! my type has a big appetit, but this burger was bigger, he took the last patty and buns to house! boneism, yes. all of them are pretty accurate, but that was the best I saw tonight!

The food is always very good. The atmosphere is like a sports bar BBQ joint. Slightly expensive but it is also open very late.

If I could, it would be 3.5 stars. The service was pretty slow and half the food was over cooked. The wings were battered and had sauce poured over them, which tasted like Bush's baked beans sauce but with extra seasonings.[it was supposed to be sweet glaze]. The pulled pork was fantastic and the ribs were amazing though! The waitress we had was pretty okay, but overall I wouldn't brag about the place to anyone. Sorry..

Food was good. Service was slow considering there were only 2 or 3 other tables in the entire place. The food took a really long time too. Although I have a feeling that had more to do with our server than the kitchen. I'm in the restaurant business and I understand sometimes people have off days so thats why even though I didn't love the service I'm still giving 4 stars. I'm sure a different server would have resulted in a much better experience. Food was really good though and we will definitely be back.

Clean restaurant. Very welcoming environment. Very nice bar area with plenty of seating. Waiter was very friendly courteous. Appetizer was fresh very delicious. The main course was horrible! Everything taste like refrigerator the dish looked like it was microwaved. The ribs, chicken, pork were dry old they tried to cover it up with sauce. Better options down the road...
