From the moment we walked through the door, the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. The ales were excellent, and the triple roast on Sunday was fantastic. The room was cozy and comfortable, with plenty of amenities for our stay. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and truly fueled us for the rest of the day. We will definitely be staying here again next time we're in Cheshire. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Bears Head:
I haven't been with the bears head for a few years, but was pleased that it was just as good as I remembered. beautiful log fires and cordial greetings and a great menu to choose from. the suppe was delicious, but could have done with something more and possibly more brot. the minipuddings were also a great idea, but the eton mess was essentially cream and very little that was disappointed. but we will be back. I was blown away from my experience here, nice cozy, relaxed atmosphere, great service and excellent eating. I had a bell, my friend had jäger hühnerschnitzel. both were excellent. the house made tweebel ring melt in the mouth. all staff were friendly and helpful, steph, our server, who was particularly attentive and friendly. can not wait to go back
On Friday night, nice atmosphere and friendly service. for two courses very good eating, would highly recommend!
The pub has a lot of character, had some really nice food, was served by Daniel who was attentive and looked after us. We also stayed at the Inn keepers Lodge adjacent, which was nice. Had a lovely overnight stay, would recommend and would stay again
Simply outstanding. Service was excellent and extremely prompt. Portion size was huge and the food was piping hot. All plates were cleared including the children and the price was very reasonable. Excellent work
Dog friendly in the bar area which is what attracted us. Had the rib eye steak and was excellent. Staff all friendly and helpful. Definitely will go again especially as Vintage Inns have a loyalty program.
