Kedai Makanan King Cheong - Sandakan

This restaurant is our family favorite restaurant at Sandakan, we eat here since I still kid, now I already 23 years old, and we never disappointed with the food and their service.

The King Cheong restaurant is located strategically in Sandakan old town. They serve local and traditional food especially Hong Kong's fried rice fried rice noodles, chicken rise, dim sum, pork/ beef soup noodles, economic mix rice etc. The price is affordable by local citizens. Highly recommend to those tourist wish to explore the local foodie. In overall, the range of foods is average level.

Old chinesse shop has many variety, non halal of course. Quite clean and tidy. Food and dim sum okay and lot of fried items here including soups. Drinks are variety too and nice coffee. Good family and friends in group. Fast service. Bŕeakfast and lunch for people in downtown. Price is resoanable. Only regret is menu all in Chinesse characters.

Local food at local prices. Great place for hearty breakfast. I’ll definitely come back in my next trip to Sandakan.
