Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Sand Springs

My girlfriend and I came here to try out the new Sand Springs location. I didn’t remember if we have ever had Tropical Smoothie cafe before. This location was very clean and modern. It’s also in a great location. Our smoothies were both very tasty. I got one with strawberry, pineapple and banana and it was everything I hoped for. My only complaint is that the employees seemed like some young kids who didn’t have very good customer service skills. They didn’t treat us badly or anything, they just seemed unskilled. My girlfriend got a quesadilla and they forgot her salsa she wanted and we had to get up and go ask for it. Overall, not a big deal just some things they need to improve upon and once time goes on I’m sure things will get better. Also I feel like the prices are inflated for what you get. There seems to just be one price and one size of smoothie unless I’m mistaken. It’s a large smoothie but for basically $7 each I just don’t know if it’s the best value. If you have the money and want a great tasting smoothie I would say try this place out for sure.

Lunch hour rush. Staff super unorganized and taking food out to customers in lobby and making them wait for smoothies or not getting them for customers at all, making customers ask for them. I wanted to speak with manager and was told manager not there. I then asked how much long to wait for smoothie...had already waited 20 minutes at this point for food. Short, dark haired girl with glasses, green khaki pants rudely told me that if I didn't want to wait for my smoothie I could go back there and make it myself. No customer should ever be spoken to like that. Ever. Poor customer service... First Troplical Smoothie with wrap and it will be the last.

The employees were very pleasant. And the food was so good. I had the jerk chicken wrap, spicy, but amazing! The Baja was just as good and the jalapeno corn was a spicy symphony of deliciousness. The sunrise smoothie was simply wonderful. It had a smooth fruity flavor that made my taste buds super happy. ?

The chicken bacon ranch flatbread was Absolutely delicious ?

Didn’t get served. Seemed as if the employees were hiding from us. Just myself and my boyfriend were in the store (no one was in the drive-thru), yet we waited a while and no one come to the counter even though there was 2 employees in the kitchen who obviously saw us. They seemed too busy holding their own conversation to handle company business.
