after several dinners at San teodoro this was one of our two favorite restaurants. excellent mixed appetizer and spaghetti with clams. plentiful portions, adequate prices, attentive and kind staff. at the end of the dinner, a glass of delicious homemade myrtle is offered. highly recommended. What Enrico C doesn't like about Il Mangiatutto:
I can't fault the food, it was nice. Average. The owner likes playing the waiting game of finding the suitable table and if you don't like it then you just get the worst of the Italian attitude. Sarcasm and bad temper. You are in the hospitality business, get over it and be nice...if you can! It is not a place that I will go back to. I am expecting good manner too, not just good food! My advice to the tourists, pleas... View all feedback.

Very nice place, very kind staff, fresh ingredients (these are shown to you before cooking), perfect cooking as per your likes, big portions and fair price. What else you can ask for?
We had been recommended this restautant and we made a reservation, as i made the reservation it already seemed like a bit of a hassle that we wanted to reserve for another day(they didnt habe, space for us the day we arrived . But we were a little disappointed. The staff was really unpersonal, stressing us to finish (trying to take the plate before we were finished. they just tried to get people out to get the next in. Otherwise the food was really good, We had lobster and kids pizza. The garden was nice to sit in but i do recommend not coming too early on hot summer days. We were there at 7:30 and an hour latwr would have been alot better.
We visited here last night, we hadn’t booked and I was a little fearful of some of the reviews, complaining that tourists were not treated well here. The owner (I assume) did seem a little surly on the surface but found us a table in the corner next to the pizza oven. Probably not the best table, but we hadn’t booked so that’s on us. One of our servers spoke very little English, the other only Italian but that’s fair enough, we are in Italy. My Italian is not very good but we managed. I think like everywhere they appreciate when tourists, especially the English, make an effort to speak to them in their language. The staff were very pleasant and we never felt poorly treated. Food was delicious, portions reasonable and it was all reasonably priced. Personally I would recommend trying this place out. Grilled sausage was superb, pizzas are fresh and very nice, and seafood pasta was good. Some lovely desserts. We arrived around 20:00 on a Tuesday, I think any later we would have needed a booking. We had actually tried the day before at around 20:30 and were turned away.
