Dairy Queen - San Saba

Blizzards serve the best food. They offer dine-in service for brunch at a price range of $10-$20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top ratings of 5.

Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed that everyone was engrossed in their cell phones. However, the staff gave us a moment to decide what we wanted to order. The lady who served us, whose name I did not catch, was extremely polite and friendly. We ordered four blizzards, one sundae, and helped our group of six get our treats to the table quickly. The Brookie Blizzard was delicious, and everyone was satisfied after a long hike at Colorado Bend State Park. We gave the restaurant four stars because the cleanliness of the establishment left something to be desired - our table and booth were dirty. The drive-thru was more of a pull-up ordering window, but we recommend going inside to get some steps in. Overall, the service was great, and the food and atmosphere received top ratings. There is plenty of free parking available in the parking lot.

The restaurant had a clean bathroom, but it smelled like a locker room after the Super Bowl, which was unusual for a Dairy Queen. However, the good and friendly customer service was definitely a big plus.

We enjoy Dairy Queen for a casual dessert stop, but we are not as fond of their main dishes. We particularly like their Blizzards and dipped cones.

The food was delicious and the ice was very refreshing on a hot day.
