What George P doesn't like about Meson El Guadarnes:
Cute resto with decent food. Portions are small. The worst is the terrible noise from the other tables. Spaniards talk loudly but normally this is not an issue if the place is well designed to cope with a fairly large group of people. I went with a friend and it was hard to have a conversation. The presentation is good. Service is attentive. View all feedback.
The restaurant meets the school measures in terms of table and ventilation distances. the treatment of the staff is attentive but the mask does not take it completely. the food was very rich and dessert too. It's a good restaurant in general.
A real surprise. We went without previous knowledge of the site simply because we had caught the time to eat and had not foreseen anything. we called and immediately attended. When we arrived we had prepared a private room to eat on the summer terrace. They brought us some bounty olives that surprised us a lot. We ask for some dishes for the middle: roasted and scrambled artichokes, with which we struggle to see who ate the last piece. Then we all decant for meats: lamb chops, pepper flakes and calves. We all end up testing all the dishes and enjoying each bite. In the end, and even though we already serve well, we couldn't help asking for desserts. Just say that if the one who goes doesn't end up with a brioche sore, half of the food is lost. the staff who attended us was of an exceptional professionalism and within 10 minutes we felt that we knew each other for a lifetime. the average price was 29 € something high, but the experience deserves it. He didn't hit us at the expense and it's a place we'll come back to.

It's always difficult serving 14 people at once but Luis and his boys managed magnificently. We started by sharing various starters crab pate, baked artichokes and stuffed mushrooms along with the house speciality of fried olives. Everyone was given a choice of meat or fish but most of us had steaks or iberian pork fillets but I couldn't resist the oxtail which was superb. A birthday cake arrived for dessert and everyone had tea or coffee.along with some liqueurs (Invitation of the house) we eventually left at almost 5.30pm after a very good lunch
Espectacular comida, de verdad que la mejor comida de la zona.El equipo es un 10. Recomendadisimo.
