Genji Sushi - San Ramon

The quality of the store is good, but the products are standardized among the various stores. You can get some prepared foods here, but it is basically a grocery store with high prices. I do like their display of fruits and vegetables as everything looks tasty.

Just read reviews for Genji when daughter headed out the door to Whole Foods for some evening shopping. She shops there regularly but had never mentioned Genji. I asked her to pick out some sushi to buy if they had any left. She came home with grilled salmon avocado roll, double shrimp bar be que roll and a roll in a green wrapper with shrimp on top that looked teriffic. It found itself in my granddaughter's hands and quickly vanished before the rest of us could try it. Since it was late, daughter decided to only buy rolls with cooked fish. All were pretty good. Attractive and tasty. Prices for the three were less than restaurants charge. My plan is to shop earlier in the day and order food. The platters look nice on their web site and prices sure are reasonable. I don't get out much these days, but I believe some of the delivery services work with Genji. Am looking forward to trying more of their very large selection of Japanese food!!!!

Good quality sushi. They make sushi very well and it's fast and easy. Grab and go or order at the counter. They are very helpful and answer all questions.

The store was very busy — thankfully management had all checkout lines open. Wait was minimal and checkers we very friendly. Selection was nice and store was clean. Would be nice to have better selection in cheese dept. selection was limited carrying average quality cheese. Not the higher quality selection of cheeses used to seeing at other best foods.

I work nearby and I love coming here to pick up breakfast, lunch or a snack. I also will do some grocery shopping here before I go home. I always have a great experience here. The customer service is great. I can always count on fresh ingredients. I can use my amazon account to get special discounts.
